IT fit-out for destination art centre
Global mega gallery Hauser & Wirth was opening a 16,000 sq ft art centre in the beautiful natural setting of Illa del Rei, an island in Mahon harbour.
The Challenge
Our client needed to a complete IT set up, provisioned during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, connecting the island location to the global gallery’s worldwide systems.
The Solution
Working alongside the gallery and its architects, Synergy specified and oversaw the delivery of network and security solutions which were congruent with the space’s aesthetic.
Synergy provisioned a fast undersea fibre internet connection, linking the complex with the mainland.
Synergy installed a complete surveillance solution, using minimally-invasive 360° cameras with custom vinyl covers.
The outcome
The gallery’s IT systems were commissioned and tested in good time for the gallery’s opening.
TESTIMONIAL
