Global marketing agency able to set-up new Washington office in days thanks to rapid IT deployment
A global marketing agency was expanding into a new location – Washington DC – as part of a lucrative contract with a well-known automotive client.
The Challenge
Our client needed to move fast in order to deliver the contract successfully, giving us very little time to organise the technical aspect of the project.
While the new Washington DC team was going to be small initially, there was the expectation it would be scaled up quickly. This meant that any IT solution deployed would need to be equally flexible and scalable.
The Solution
Supported by our established partners in the US, we purchased multiple Apple devices. Our team of New York engineers were deployed to Washington and got 7 machines set up remotely within 2 days. This meant that creative and design teams could get started working for their client almost immediately.
Leveraging Apple Business Manager, we activated our MDM and Active Directory solutions to remotely deploy all devices, and had users onboarded in a very short space of time. As well as providing onsite support to the team in Washington, we utilised our remote suite of tools to ensure new users can be set-up within minutes.
The outcome
Our client was able to set-up and get to work quickly, which helped to rapidly earn the trust of their major new client. The success meant that the small team of two was increased to 7 within 12 months.
