Whisky Tasting Evening At The Clubhouse

 We  had the pleasure of welcoming guests for a whisky tasting event at the Synergy Clubhouse last night. The evening was led by James Bunting, a seasoned expert from NewMake Comms, who guided us through a delightful selection of whiskies while sharing his wealth of knowledge and passion for the craft.

The event began with an introduction to the art of whisky making, including an overview of different types of whisky and the unique characteristics of each. James provided insights into the distillation process and the importance of ingredients, aging, barrel types and region in creating distinct flavours.

We had the opportunity to taste a range of whiskies, each carefully chosen to highlight a different region of Scotland. James expertly guided us through the tasting process, teaching us how to appreciate the aromas, flavours, and finishes of each whisky – my personal favourite being the Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2012 (try saying that after a few whiskies!)

We couldn’t have asked for a better guide, and can’t wait to have James and our guests back again soon.
